Determination of paternity

The thesis deals with parentage determination. At present, this issue is becoming more and more topical due to current diversion from traditional values, the traditional model of family in particular. The thesis concerns not only with the determination of paternity, but also with maternity determination, which is mentioned with regard to assisted reproduction and surrogacy. Emphasis is placed on both, current legislation and the new Civil Code coming into effect on 1 January 2014. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. The introduction discusses possible views on the concept of parenthood. Furthermore, it introduces the issue of parentage determination, especially in connection with the increasing number of children born outside marriage. The following chapter is devoted to legislative regulation of parentage determination itself. Firstly, it elaborates the history of such regulations with focus on Roman law and the Austrian Civil Code. Subsequently, it describes the current legislation and briefly comments on the new Civil Code, which is further discussed in the corresponding chapters. The third chapter examines the determination of maternity. Included are the issues of assisted reproduction and surrogacy, as well as anonymous and concealed births, which have become an important topic rather recently....
The current concept of education for marriage and parenthood

RÉZOVÁ, Michaela. The current koncept of education to marriage and parenthood Charles University in Prague. Philosophical faculty, pedagogical department. 2012, 95 number of pages. Diploma thesis. The main topic of the thesis is an attitude of present-day young generation towards contemporary marital and parentage education. The thesis is aimed at opinions and attitudes of students of high schools in the area of marriage and parentage. Common features are family education, interpersonal relationships and mainly partnership relationships. The theoretical part of the thesis defines basic terms that deal with problems of contemporary family, marriage, parentage and partnership. The main aim of the analytical part of the thesis is processing of questionnaires answered in high schools in the East Bohemia region in order to ascertain opinions and attitudes of students on the topic. An outcome of the thesis is an evaluation of attitudes of students in the area of family education, main importance of marriage and transition to parentage responsibilities. There will be collection of methodical topics that could support foreknowledge in the area of sexual education in high schools. Basic terms: education, partnership, marriage, parentage
The future of a Czech family

My work deals with contemporary Czech family and its development. Young people enter to a lesser extent to marry, less and less children are born, the population is aging, alarming is the high number of divorces. Does the impact the amount of education on divorce? Evident is also a large increase in children born to single mothers. Even though it is still the most children born of marriage, unmarried parents are increasing. Many couples can not conceive a child naturally and uses the opportunity to assisted reproduction. Increasing the proportion of women who for some reason a child can not or do not want. i also deal with the division of roles in the family and in the work area. What has changed in contemporary family compared to traditional family? The aim is to map the current situation of Czech families and their future from the perspective of domestic and foreign authors. i can see the importance of the ethical and social aspects that may to impact the influence of development of families in the future.Conclusion contains my assessment on this issue.
Current parents and their attitudes towards kindergarten

The objective of this Bachelor´s Thesis was to explore the experience of contemporary parents with a kindergarten, arising from their own experience from the time of their childhood, and which are the basis of their attitudes towards this institution. The Bachelor´s Thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part I am concerned with the family, parentage, kindergarten, basic human needs and values in the contemporary society. In the practical part I discover the experience of the contemporary parents with the kindergarten from the time of their childhood, their attitudes, expectations and satisfaction with the current kindergarten, what changes they have experienced, what are the aspects of their choice of the kindergarten, and what values are important to them. The practical part is based upon a quantitative method-interview. The results of interviews with forty parents of preschool children are included.
